I am starting a microenterprise and I do not have employees so I don’t have to do any payroll. I want to buy software for accounting and I don’t know which one would work best. I will be selling mostly online.
I work for a Developer and need accounting software that can deal with multiple development loans, as well as can calculate payroll & taxes. He doesn’t think QuickBooks is good enough, but I’ve always liked it in the past….Does anyone know of anything else I might try?? Thanks!
I know this has been asked alot of times. And the usual answers is use a proxy software or service. But I don’t want to do either. I just read somewhere about getting a web hosting account based in US & then installing a VPN on the web host.
So can some experienced member please guide me in detail on how do I do this and make my IP appear as a US IP address?
Please HELP ![]()
Greetings fathead.
Well thanks for the answer. I have not completely understood but I am trying to. So once I do what you suggested, will I be able to surf websites wherein my IP will appear as a US IP address ?

Wanting advice about starting a possible online, home-based business. Currently a 3rd shift, part-time college student and wanting to explore this possiblity. Skills include excellent typing skills (80+wpm), desktop publishing skills (can easily create professional brochures, memos, pamplets, banners, etc), data entry, basic accounting, and web design (with Microsoft FrontPage). I’m sure this market is over-loaded with other business, but I would still like to see if I could be successful. I have most, if not all, of the required software/equipment such as Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Package Suite, scanners, internet, digital camera, etc.. My question(s) include: How would I successfully run and advertise my business? How and what services should I list that I can perform? How would I know what to charge compared to other “online” businesses? What legalities/liabilities should I be aware of? I’m limiting my investment to $0-$100. Thanks.
I would want to do this business part-time, but at least 30-35 hours a week. I can devote about 2-3 hours per day (Monday – Thursday), but then work all day long on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. I have always had a love of doing these types of jobs for friends, family, and organizations that I am affiliated with, but would like to be able to earn an income if I could be successful.
I am not wanting anyone to answer with their own advertisment of web sites to “make money” or any SPAM! I will report you if you answer in this manner. I want advice or suggestions, not spam. If I wanted SPAM I would do a search and find it myself.
